The purpose of this project is to look at how ethnic Algerians who lived in France following the Algerian War for Independence adapted to French culture and how French culture in turn adapted to them.

The Kindertransport Experience in World War II Britain

Between November 1938 and the outbreak of the war in September 1939, 7,500 German and Austrian Jewish children escaped to the United Kingdom. This paper frames the Kindertransport experience as a function of minority identity.
